Of course this is only speculation of other things to come, , but since I have been in a similar program here in Colorado I will say I felt comfortable talking about taking and not taking drugs and I want and need to know if I can take the medication I need to and not just take it without asking questions. Also and possible interaction with other meds.

"SAM" is kind and caring. She listens to what is happening. She wants to know if you're getting pain control and if so how much.
She will also help with some alternative therapies, like massage and others.
She has helped me so much with being able to function daily.
I highly recommend Samantha and the whole Summit Care team.

I'm leaving feedback under Richard's name because he is the only other provider, I have seen in the over 4 years I was a patient here. I was not pleased with the care I received from him because it seemed like he didn't listen to me or even read my chart before he attended to my pain needs. He was covering for my provider, Shannon Graves, when she was out on a day in needed injections, and I just could not wait until she returned. I left the practice after my visit on Sept 25, when I arrived to discover that the only people I knew that were left in the office were the 2 receptionists and my provider. When I got in to see Shannon, I jokingly said, "So, when is your last day?" She did not confirm nor deny when/if she was leaving. I called the office the next week, after I got my appt reminder only to find out that she was no longer with the practice! Now, I don't know what's going on in this office, but I can only wonder when the office manager and a PA left abruptly one week, and then within 2 weeks, the whole rest of the office staff and providers. except Richard, and 2 receptionists had left!! By-the-way, Felicia and Shavauna are the ones who kept that front office going. I'm very sad to have to leave, as I really did love going there. It was like catching up with family every time I went. However, if the owner/managers, or whoever is running the show can’t/won’t keep the patients, and apparently, the staff happy as well, then it’s truly high time for me to go. Such a true disappointment!!

The staff makes you feel very at ease and welcome. I have very bad anxiety and have a very hard time going to doctors offices and Brina and her staff have made it very easy for me to go in with out anxiety attacks. So far this is the best office and staff I have been to they are professional and caring. When you go in they remember you even through they are one of the busiest offices I have been to they still take the time to address all you needs and don't just rush you through.

No issues with Richard, but the staff and billing Dept....horrible
I received a bill through email that stated the following:
"Dear Valued Patient, We value our relationship with you and take pride in working for your best interests and optimal health. We’re also interested in how we can improve the service we provide you."
I responded with an issue I had with the bill and then also gave suggestions on how they could improve service. I had been having issues getting my meds sent to the proper place. This clinic kept sending my prescriptions to mail order which was much more expensive than Safeway, and I was requesting them through the patient portal as instrcuted by PA Richard White. While getting my issues addressed I was included on an email chain between employees of Summit, and Beth Passilla was absolutely horrible.
I had spine surgery on 1/2/2024 and had sent this information to Richard White via email as instructed to do previously having given me his email to his office. I never received an email verifying reciept and mentioned this as an area of improvement, better communications. This is what Beth wrote in the email to another employee which I was included:
"We don’t have time to inform patients that we received their records and that they have been uploaded to their chart. They can ask during their next appointment."
"See below in red if he calls, or I can talk to him. Can’t believe what people think we are supposed to do for them…."
There were a couple of other issues but these 2 were the worst. I've yet to get an apology or an updated bill. Richard White has treated me great, but the office/billing staff are horrible. Communication is horrible. I feel as though I was treated like trash by Beth. I and my insurance pay for a service and I expect that service to be the best it can be. Summit has failed here. The providers my wife and I have seen here seem fine, but everybody else treats you like a bothersome burdon. Why work here if you feel patients, who are why you have a job here, are a troublesome pain. I have better interactions with my pets veterinarian.

I have been a patient for several years, and I love my providers. They listen and genuinely care. I’d love to give 5 stars, but the patient portal is a disaster that cannot be made to make sense. The notes and lab results for all the years I’ve been going here are just one terrible run on sentence. As someone with several chronic conditions and multiple specialists, I like to, and need to share results with my specialists, and instead of being able to just print them out, I have to contact someone and hope I get what I’m requesting. It’s an extra step that is wasteful in the office staff time, and mine.
